My Awesome Spiderman Dress

I made this yesterday!! I was inspired and so I made it. I added the red ribbon as an afterthought because I thought it really needed something to break up the pattern. I got the fabric a year ago in Longs Pharmacy in Oakland, CA. Oh how I long for Longs!! It's the best place. I hope to get a chance to go there when I come to SF in August!!
Anyways, yeah I wanna make more things but I only have some weird 80s fabric that I got in New York from an ancient old man near Chinatown. I'm going to make some pencil cases out of it I think. :D

Looks lovely. The bow was a great idea.

Is it bad I paid more attention to the balloon image in the background than the dress?

Superb dress though. Congratulations.

In the chill of the night,
At the scene of the crime,
Like a streak of light,
He arrives just in time.

There you go again. That dress pattern package looks like something from the early 1960s. You've got to find that time machine Paperlilies. Speaking of which, I'm happy George Sampson won BGT with that Gene Kelly meets NYC breaker/popper routine.

I love that dress you made! I've always wanted to buy those pattern pockets and try to make my own dress! Maybe now I'll get the motivation to go buy/make one finally!

That dress is brilliant!
I wish I was so good at dress making, I do Textiles at school but I wouldn't be able to make that.
The fabric is definitley the best bit.
