monochrome people

Wowww!! I love this article! It's about 5 different people who only wear one colour. There's one woman who wears only Yves Klein blue (an artist who invented a beautiful bright blue colour, and called it after himself)
, and a man who only wears white and pink.

I love colour, it's my favourite thing in all t he world, and being a graphic designer, at university we would joke about having to turn monochrome once we left university as the graphic designer's 'uniform' was all black with black-rimmed glasses (and a black or silver Saab car). Despite dressing luridly all through university, for our final show I wore all black to signify the occasion (not that anyone noticed, they thought I had just decided to dress up smart for a change).

Yesterday I wore all green and pink.

I recently moved to Seattle, Washington. It's rainy and depressing here. I don't understand why everyone here wears black clothes. I'd go a little mad if I didn't throw some color into my wardrope.--my two cents

You ever wonder what the sound of a color is? Someone sent me this site yesterday "www . soundofcolor . com".

It's pretty cool and free music downloads too.

There are three types of colorblindness. I'm 2 of the 3. I see black, white, blue, and yellow. That's it.

I might go crazy if I only wore one colour, I am kind of curious if atleast one of those people suffer from OCD. However I really enjoyed the article. :)

Does blue really equal loyalty?

Fashion designers who wear only a couple of colours is pretty weird, but maybe there trying to get a signiture going. It got them in the papers at least.

That is the most beautiful color blue! But I don't think I could ever limit myself to wearing one color all the time! Wow, that's commitment.

I find it HILARIOUS that he says he invented a color.

Unbelieveable douche behavior to meeee.

"all black with black-rimmed glasses "

I believe thats the general Artsy Pro uniform, worldwide.

Have you ever been up north of the border?

There are people here who refuse to wear anything but the colour of their "fitba" team.

example?

At my dads work a man complained when the overalls they had to wear changed from blue to green, because he was a rangers fan and thought that celtic fans were the scum of the earth. Sorry.. I just believe people like that shouldn't be allowed outside.

Wow, that's pretty lame. Thanks Miss Lilies for continuing to fill our lives with such mindless mindlessness.

I love that blue.....but ALL that blue is a tad too much for my taste! :-D

I love the pink/green combination...to me it's quite evocative of Spring!

Nothing but one colour would probably make me feel a bit weird (Although I do wear a lot of black I guess >_<).

If I had to go monochrome for a day, without choosing black, I'd probably get an orange suit (Like the one Bruce Willis wore on Letterman).

Green and pink btw? I'd love to see how you pulled that one off :)

I guess it's only slightly better than wearing nothing at all I have to wear a uniform and I've noticed that I try to get as far away from that color (navy blue)as possible when I'm not working. Except for jeans, that is.

How do these prople relate to others in their workplace, I wonder? How would you feel working with someone whose outfit never seemed to change? I know that it is a truism that many folks get "stuck" wearing a particular style of clothing (usually from the period that they felt the happiest)

monochrome means black and white

Anonymous, if you're going to correct, first make sure that YOU are correct.

I couldn't go with just wearing one color. I love color and love to mix colors.. good or bad. But the article was great.
