*sigh*

Even after my video.... people still send me messages like this.

"hey i was just recently watching one of your videos and you said that british/uk kids have to wear a mouth piece when they're kids to get their accents. I was just wondering if that was really true or not? thanks for your help!!! "

I've got my mouthpiece mounted, and it's an ornament on my desk. I know some people who, as soon as they've got their accent, can't wait to get rid of the thing, but I thought it was a piece of my own personal history. Doesn't fit any more.

This is why I have no faith in humanity. Some people are so stupid. When I was in Florida two years ago, this girl and I were talking in line for a Disney ride and she asked if I lived in an Igloo because I'm from Canada. I told her yes. n_n Then proceeded to tell her I have a penguin as a pet.

That is so ridiculous no kid not even british/uk ones should have to go through that for their accent.

Lucky you, I never get emails from ignorant morons no more.

You should make a ridiculous version of the "ACCENT PERFECTOR" and sell it on ebay. see how much it goes for.

Accept and let go...relax in the fact that no one is perfect. Our goal is to move towards a perfect human condition...some have further to go than others.

you owe it to them and the world to say yes. It's absolutely true. My girls are five and two and we're debating whether we can hand down the mouthpiece to little sis. Big sis just got her first wobbly tooth, so Alpha Speech Bionator 2.6, here we come! Her teacher will be pleased, because her last mouthpiece gave her trouble with her "g"s. I guess if we hand down, we'll have that problem again. Nevermind, I'm rambling.

Demystification is not for the young or foolish.
