What are you? Six? If this is an attempt to satisfy your "Real Doll" need, I think it may be in vain...

HEY...I thought we were taking a break...hiatus...remember ?

Hi Paperlilies. I hope you are enjoying your "hiatus" (or perhaps it is more of an internet-go-slow?) I can see you are taking time to smell the flowers, at least. That is a fascinating little creature (remember Creatures? - "doe kwardi doe" bibble! lol) I like the way she looks when she's looking out of the corner of her eyes. It is as though she is about to say something or maybe just send you a telepathic message.
I've never seen one in real life, how tall is she etc. And how do the eyes change colour?
Are there like, sets of rotating eyeballs inside the head? Or maybe different coloured irises in each eyeball or do they change colour through LED lights or some other type of technology? Sorry if that sounded a bit gory. But I am curious about such things. I hope she gladdens your heart! :-)

That thing scares the crap out of me
Its kinda like it wants to position itself on the stairs to purposely trip and kill you as it keeps looking at you out of the corner of its eye.

These Blythe dolls are beautiful. Never heard of 'em before you Bryony. My fav pic is the Blythe next to the flower. (What kind of flower is that?)

Bri,

With the number of adoring fans you have out here,it's no wonder you want to take a break! I'm not sure of the spelling, but a designer named Corbusier? had a quote I've remembered:"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be Useful or believe to be Beautiful" or in Ameican parlance: "if it make you Happy, can it be that bad?"

What does the name Blythe mean? Inquiring minds want to know (don't they?). From thinkbabynames.com I found this:

The boy's and girl's name Blythe \b-ly-the\ is pronounced bleeth. It is of Old English origin, and its meaning is "blithe, cheerful, carefree". Modern coinage, though possibly linked to the transferred use of the surname from the word "blithe" during the Middle Ages. Made famous by the opening lines of Shelley's poem "To a Skylark": "Hail to thee, blithe spirit!" and Noel Coward's play "Blithe Spirit". Actress Blythe Danner.
