Lost In Translation

I don't know what to make of this, but it fits with what I already kind of thought about what he said at the end. I don't know...

Have you seen Lost in Translation?? At the end, Bill Murray's character whispers something to Scarlett Johansson and noone knew what it was. Til someone 'digitally enhanced' the audio. I don't know if its for real but it fits if it is. I like it if it's true.

The song at the end of this clip (also on the actual movie soundtrack) makes me cry.

Lost in Translation is a wonderful motion picture.

If the movie director wanted the audience to know what was said she would have made Bill's line audible, but she chose not to.

Ultimately I think the director made the right choice leaving the message inaudible.

She leaves it up to the audience to decide what was said and that is the best idea.

I got "...but I won't let that come between us, ok?"

What ever's before that, is still lost.

yea .. great song, especialy at the end of the movie it really plays your heart stings :)

i dont really believe that "translation", its actually still completly inaudible. without an offical statement from bill, its like seeing shapes in the clouds.

and i personally always thought the scene is ment to be mysterious, and therefore bill didnt say anything in particular at all.
it would even be plausible, that bill always said something different like "did you see the guy with the microphone choking on his bubblegum", because actors tend to do such stuff for fun :P

*sign* anyway ... great movie :)

I can remember an interview with the director who did say what Bill Murry said at the end. But for the life of me i can't remember it now. NUTS!
