All my internets, in one place!!
I don't mind de colour scheme as much as the typography... I don't know if this applies to everyone, but in my MacOSX+Firefox the type looks quite uncomfortable to read... Typographies like that (with serif) aren't frequently used over the Internet, as they are considered less legible on computer screens than sans-serif ones. + info: http://usability.about.com/od/visualdesign/qt/serifvssans.htmBut that's something personal, do what you want.
I personally prefer the serif fonts much more both on screen and on paper.
I've always liked the color scheme of your blog.Wes
I overfed your fish. so dont feed them anymore today. thx.
Haha, me too about the fish. That amused me for no less than three minutes. Do you get payed when people feed them? Because that's cool. I love your music videos Paperlilies.
I always just hover the mouse over the fish so that they get excited, and then cruelly refuse to give them any of my infinite supply of food...Or I pick one of them and just feed that one over and over again so that all its friends are hungry and resentful.
i know it's not a colour scheme suggestion, but tumblr.com blogs are waaaay cooler than Google bloggers i reckon. i have one. i don't work for them though by the way!make a nice wallpaper?Simon.x
I'm always less comfortable reading light on dark. I even have a little java script that I can run to turn all web pages into black on white. Yours isn't awful because of your color choices but, aftern longer pieces, it would do a little retinal damage!PS - All you gotta do is strip out the last little bit on that reading level HTML and the Fast Cash, or whatever, bit disappears. I picked up your post (with a Hat Tip!) and posted it on my blog and did that.
Yo Papes,This is much like the color scheme they had on the first computer word processors. You know, the charcoal and yellow that made people go blind. No worries, though, your fans are likely to go blind from one bad habit or another.Dave
How about orange on black? But what you have now isn't bad at all.
Bri, Leave it the way it is. it's fine.
cool. i just learned that u can use nicknames in here.
i get the feeling that the Red fish gets all the attention.
Looks fine to me.
I quite agree with mrblonde - sans-serif is definitely easier to read. And I guess the colour scheme isn't that reading friendly (too many colours?). But that's just my opinion :) Anyway I mostly read your posts in a feed reader, so I'm not confronted with the colour scheme too often :P
I'd just make the background a little darker. Otherwise it's fine!Oh, and I nicked your fish to put them on my blog! They're great.
I've no problem with blue text. But white text on black has more evenly lit pixels for characters than a single colour does; The time to worry is when it's pink text on Red!Don't use a Mac but if they have a Video out you could hook up an external monitor to the laptop.A nice 19" CRT does it for me but an any good LCD should be a huge improvement - One for the wish list dare i say!
