Best fictional bears

Ok, i thought i would 'remake' my list of fictional bears, WITH PICTURES! omg, hawt.

Ok, number one best bear: Superted:

.

He kicked ass. The story was that he was not good enoughwhen he was made, so he got chucked out of the factory. Then this alien called Spotty sprinkled magic dust on him, which turned him into Superted. I don't know what it was about it that made me love it so much! But it really was the greatest thing to watch.

Gloomy Bear is a modern Japanese character, who is a violent bear with huge claws, who is friends with this boy, but even though they are friends, Gloomy Bear winds up killing the boy, because he is a bear. It happens. I think i like him because he is the only fictional bear that has even a tiny connection to reality in that he is a violent carnivorous animal. Plus its cute and Japanese, which i am a sucker for.

The Carebears were amazingly lame, looking back, i think it must have been the colours that i liked the most. And that they lived on clouds. Which would be so cool. They were magic too weren't they?
They are so 80s. So gloriously 80s!

Rupert the Bear (it could have been called 'Rupert: The Bear'. That would have been cool. It would have been some kind of serial killer or assasin show then) Was kind of creepy to be honest, but i loved the drawings in his annuals, and there is something rather excellently English about him. Even though he is a polar bear boy hybrid creature.

So, there you have my top 5 fictional bears. I hate Winnie The Pooh- its one of my more controversial opinions and has lost me many a person's respect, but i can't love a soulless Disney honey munching bastard!! Is no-one else perturbed by the way he wears a shirt BUT NO PANTS? the whole thing just kind of.. creeps me out.

This post was the biggest effort (damn you hard to use interface!!) but check out my next post to see why it was all so worthwhile!

You inspired me to check out Winnie on Wiki... check out the picture from the Russian version of Winnie the Pooh. He doesn't even bother with a shirt...
